The Young Stars and Future Stars Soccer camps give young Soccer players the opportunity to improve their skills, make new friends, and have lots of fun. Attending a PSP Summer camp is a great way for Soccer players to stay sharp over summer, as well as keeping them active and away from video games. Too many kids spend too much time playing video games these days, which is why having them attend summer camps is so important.
Summer Soccer camps are vital to the physical and social development of children. The physical benefit is obvious, especially when you consider that 1 in 3 American children are classed as overweight. At camps like the Young, and Future Stars camps, the children are constantly active as they take part in different soccer games; and because of our enthusiastic staff, it is very hard for children to slack off during these games.
From a social point of view, summer camps give children the chance to mix with new people. Children experience interactions with both older and younger children, and learn that they need to act differently around people of different ages. The older kids learn to look after the younger ones, and in turn, the younger ones learn to respect their elder peers. The shy kids come out of their shells and gain confidence, while the over confident kids learn to tone it down a little.
Last, but certainly not the least, is a three letter word that is the most important aspect of summer for a child….FUN! After spending a long spring semester in school, children want to enjoy their time off and have as much fun as possible. Summer is the time where children get chance to just be children, no homework, no tests; they get to let their hair down and just have fun. Attending a summer camp is the best way for children to have fun.
The PSP staff are well aware of how important Summer camps are for children, and with over 15 years of experience in organizing, and coaching Summer camps we are able to deliver a great camp that will have parents wanting to sign their children up for the 2015 camp, even before the 2014 camp ends!
