Attention All Tampa Area Soccer Parents
COE, Brandon – A First-of-its-Kind European Academy-Style Full Time Soccer School
Dear Tampa Area Soccer Parents,
I hope this finds everyone well. My name is Ryan Maloney, the director of Pro Sports Pathways’ Center of Excellence, a first-of-its-kind full-time soccer school modeled on renowned European club academy programs combing intensive soccer-specific daily training with an award winning college-preparatory educational model.
I’m writing today to introduce the school to Bay Area soccer families like yours and to invite you to attend our upcoming ID Day event. We previously held an ID Day in May and that event was a success, as we identified a sizable number of candidates who we feel are qualified for the program; many of whom have accepted their invitation and will be attending the school in Brandon starting in August.
Talent Identification Day is Sunday, July 12th 5-7PM at the Keith Waller Fields
Do you think you have what it takes to enroll in our Center of Excellence? If so, don’t miss this unique opportunity and show the coaches that you belong in a truly elite level program.
Regarding the school opening this fall, to this point we’ve relied almost entirely on word of mouth exposure and the local media, such as last week’s article in the Tampa Bay Times (http://www.tampabay.com/news/education/k12/school-that-combines-academics-intense-soccer-training-will-open-in-brandon/2235059). At this time we’ve filled many of the available spots for the 2015-2016 school year and fully expect to fill the rest and close out registration over the next several weeks.
Learn More Now While There’s Still an Opportunity
Moving forward, I can tell you that we’re extremely focused on the quality of player and the overall character of the individuals we decide to extend invitations to rather than simply meeting our maximum goal for students attending the inaugural year in Brandon.
With that said, I’d like take a moment to encourage those of you who haven’t done so previously to stop and take a moment to consider the opportunity before you. I highly encourage those of you who are serious about your child’s soccer development to check out COE, Brandon while there’s still an opportunity to secure an invitation to the school.
Avoid Being Waitlisted or Missing Out Altogether
At the risk of blowing our own horn, the Palm Coast campus just finished its inaugural year, which was a complete success. Despite the fact we are considerably increasing our maximum student capacity for the upcoming year, the wait list for entry is already substantial and quickly growing. Unfortunately, we will have many families that will simply not have the opportunity to attend.
Granted, we are still in the midst of launching COE, Brandon and have yet to open our doors, but it’s safe to say that the same will happen with the Brandon campus. This program is completely unique. It’s still amazing to me to watch players and parents alike react to the news that there is a full-time soccer school opening in their area – they immediately “get it” and are excited about the prospect of attending a program that will give them a decisive advantage over other players they compete against at the club level and as they advance and prepare for college in the years ahead.
Full Time Soccer Schools Will Proliferate
Understandably, some may be skeptical, but believe it or not, it’s not a “difficult sell” to get people interested in the idea of their youth soccer player attending a highly affordable full-time private soccer school. Most soccer families recognize this is the norm throughout Europe and the rest of the world and believe it’s time the same type of opportunity becomes available here.
Bottom line, I guarantee you will see full-time soccer schools begin to proliferate across the U.S. over the next several years and beyond. Closer to home and more relevant to each of you, as more soccer families in the greater Tampa Bay area learn about COE, Brandon, the competition to gain entry will intensify and the wait list will begin soon for the inaugural year and most certainly for the years to follow.
For now I’d like to make some additional information available, which you’ll find attached. Hopefully this will answer some of your questions and provide insight regarding our unique approach and the competitive advantage we provide to youth soccer players in the Tampa Bay area who are serious about advancing their game, their education and their ability to one day play competitively at the collegiate level – for some even beyond.
Included you’ll also find information about our remaining Id Day event scheduled in the Brandon area at the Keith Waller Fields (1100 Sydney Dover Road, Dover, Fl. 33527) on July 12th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Please be sure to pre-register for the event, which you can do by visiting the website or contacting us at the school via phone or email.
Please feel free to contact the school directly with any questions or to discuss registration.
