Roy Evans is one of Liverpool Football Club’s greatest-ever servants. Roy was signed as a player by legendary manager Bill Shankly in 1965. Following Shankly’s shock resignation in 1974, Evans became a member of the backroom staff, coming of age as a coach and trainer.
Roy emerged as a pivotal member of Liverpool’s coaching staff throughout the 1970s and ’80s, and between 1994 and 1998 he was an English Premier League manager and head coach at the famous club.

His commitment, style and beliefs led to the development of future stars such as Robbie Fowler, Steve McManaman, and Michael Owen.
Roy also has experience coaching at the international level, between 2004 and 2007 he was the Assistant Head Coach for Wales’ national team.

James Barrow is the head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Wigan Athletic FC, specializing in injury prevention and recovery. James took the role of First Team Fitness Coach at Wigan FC, having gained significant experience as part of the medical team at Rochdale and Bolton Wanderers, coping with the demands of Premier League, Europa League and Championship football.
A former professional footballer, James began his professional career with Bury, but had to retire early after suffering a serious injury with Fleetwood Town.
